The midweek rounds for the 2021-22 Serie A season have been confirmed, as the tournament kicks off on August 22 and will conclude on May 22.

The Lega Serie A drew up the calendar today, setting out five midweek rounds and seven breaks for international duty or national holidays.

The opening weekend is on August 22, 2021 and immediately there’ll be a break for international duty on September 5.

That is again true of October 10 and November 14, while there’s a break for Christmas ruling out the weekends of December 26 and January 2.

January 30, 2022 and March 27 will also be weekends off.

The midweek rounds are September 22, 2021, October 27, December 1, December 22 and the traditional ‘Befana’ round on January 6.

The Coppa Italia Final has been set for May 11, 2022, but could well end up moving closer to the time.

As for the Italian Supercoppa between Scudetto winners Inter and Coppa Italia victors Juventus, that is yet to be decided.
