The Serbian Federation has pledged to ‘pay the fine if necessary’ for Fiorentina players Dusan Vlahovic and Nikola Milenkovic, who broke travel ban orders to go on international duty.
The situation remains confusing, as the local health authority (ASL) in Italy ordered players to remain in their club ‘bubble’ after some positive COVID-19 cases among their teammates.
However, some have opted to defy the ban and go on international duty for important matches, and could receive fines from the ASL.

The Serbian Federation, via newspaper Informer, assure they are “with our lads and will support them all the way. They cannot cause problems for the players because FIFA and UEFA have given permission to go on international duty.
“FIFA have already informed the Italian Federation and we’ll pay the fine if necessary.”
