Stefano Sensi has decided to return early from holiday to make himself available for Simone Inzaghi at Inter and has no intentions of leaving the Nerazzurri.

The former Sassuolo midfielder has struggled with injuries since joining the Beneamata in July 2019, but the Italy international is tied to Inter until June 2024.

His deal is worth €2m a season and Sensi wants to fight for a place in the Nerazzurri line-up, having initially impressed under coach Antonio Conte.

The injury problems have stopped Sensi from making a big impact on the team and the club considers listening to offers for the former Cesena man.

Fiorentina have been mentioned as possible suitors, but Calciomercato.com reports the player has politely rejected a move to the Viola.

Sensi missed the Euros due to a muscle injury and was replaced in the squad by Matteo Pessina of Atalanta, who has impressed with the Azzurri.

Knowing that he must convince Inzaghi, Sensi has, according to the outlet, decided to return early from his holidays to fight for a place at Inter and show his availability for the new coach.

The latest adductor injury at the beginning of June is almost behind him and the former Neroverdi man is ready to start working at Pinetina.
