Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi could be at risk for Italy’s Euro 2020 squad after pulling up with another muscular problem.

He was in the starting XI for today’s final Serie A game of the season against Udinese at San Siro.

However, he lasted only 38 minutes before pulling up mid-run and immediately calling for a substitution.

It seemed to be a muscular issue towards in the adductor of his left thigh.

He limped off, replaced by Christian Eriksen.

Now tests are needed, but this inevitably raises question marks over Sensi’s fitness going towards Euro 2020.

The 25-year-old’s career has been dominated by recurring injuries and he managed just 20 appearances this season in all competition for Inter.

Worryingly, those have almost all been muscular problems.
