Leonardo Semplici says his SPAL players are making too many mistakes after a 1-1 draw with Crotone.
The Ferrara side ended a run of four straight Serie A defeats by picking up a home point against Davide Nicola’s team, but the Biancazzurri boss was left frustrated by his side allowing their opponents back into the game.
“We dropped our intensity a little bit and we allowed Crotone to find the equaliser,” Semplici explained.
“I am sorry to come off the pitch with only one point after a performance like that.

“We have our way of playing, unfortunately every Sunday we are making a few mistakes too many.
“We have a lot of debutants in Serie A and we still haven’t matured.
“With one negative moment, we have compromised a good performance.”
Semplici was, however, pleased to see on-loan forward Alberto Paloschi find the net.
“I am very happy that he is back in the goals. He was one of our investments.”
