SPAL boss Leonardo Semplici is confident of getting a positive result against a Milan team in crisis. "We can take advantage of their difficult situation."

Speaking at the Milan-SPAL press conference, Semplici believes that his side, who earned a 1-1 draw with Napoli last weekend, can do the same against the Rossoneri.

"I hope their (Milan) difficult situation will allow us to take advantage and take away a positive result, which for us would be very important."

"I hope their (Milan) difficult situation will allow us to take advantage and take away a positive result, which for us would be very important."

Semplici, who has been at the club since 2014, believes the pressure on Milan will be a key factor in the game.

"The pressure on Milan will hopefully take this factor away from us, but I want us to produce a good performance."

Milan have endured a terrible start to the Serie A season, winning only three games and languishing in the bottom half of the table.

SPAL, meanwhile, find themselves second from bottom, despite the hard-fought draw against Napoli.

Milan completed the double over SPAL last season, winning 3-2 in Ferrara and 2-1 at San Siro.
