“The lads are a little tired after their midweek exertions, but that is only to be expected. We need to be focused tomorrow, as Cagliari are a very strong team, especially on home turf,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“After the victory over Lazio, we feel more confident that we’ve found some consistency and that is important. We have a precise identity, both when going forward and when defending.

“We haven’t achieved anything yet, though. These results give us self-belief, but safety is still to be earned. I think in the end the safety zone will be 37-38 points.”

Manuel Lazzari is suspended, so Semplici confirmed Lorenzo Dickmann will step in, while Petagna could be rested in favour of Alberto Paloschi.
