SPAL Coach Leonardo Semplici has signed a new contract to stay at the club until June 2020.

The 50-year-old tactician has been on the SPAL bench since December 2014, taking them to their first promotion into Serie A for 50 years.

He then kept them in the top flight this season with eight wins, 14 draws and 16 defeats, scoring 39 goals and conceding 59.

“Leo will be the SPAL Coach in 2018-19 too, becoming one of the longest-running tacticians in Biancazzurri history,” said director Vagnati at a Press conference.
