Clarence Seedorf has confirmed he’ll decide his post-Milan future in a few days, “but I don’t see why I should retire.”
The 36-year-old midfielder was one of several players whose contract expired at San Siro this summer and he has made it clear he doesn’t want to hang up his boots yet.
“I will decide what to do next season in the next seven, at most 10, days,” said the Dutchman.
“I am happy because there are so many options for me to choose from. It all depends on motivation, as I keep in good shape and still have a lot of passion.
“If I continue like this, I don’t see why I should retire.”
The favourite destination is Brazilian club Botafogo, but there are also reports of hooking up with Marcello Lippi at Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande.
