However, they missed out on Europa League qualification and the club are set to appoint another of their legendary ex-players, Pippo Inzaghi, as his successor.

Speaking to Sport Week, De Sciglio also revealed that Seedorf did not enjoy a good relationship with certain people at Milan but admitted that the team should have done better regardless.
“Seedorf should have listened to us more in order to try to find a bridge between his working demands and life in the dressing room,” he said today.
“However, we should have done more on the pitch, both for him and Allegri. The commitment wasn’t missing but the concentration was.
“It’s true that Seedorf didn’t get on with some people. Despite their disagreements their positions remained different, both on things that happened on the pitch and off it.
“Inzaghi will give enthusiasm and desire with a new style of play.”
De Sciglio’s own future at the club has come under scrutiny of late but he is determined to remain at San Siro.
“I knew I’d become a real player two years ago when Allegri for a training camp with Milan and I had the chance to train with Gattuso, Nesta and other big names.
“My last season has changed my value in the transfer market but I don’t want to leave.
“I wish and hope I can stay at Milan because I dream of Milan and I grew up at one of the best clubs in the World.”
