Former Rossoneri midfielder Clarence Seedorf sent a message to the former Arsenal director through his official Instagram account, sharing a picture with Gazidis at the Emirates Stadium.

“With all my heart, I wish Mr. Ivan Gazidis a full and speedy recovery. After reading this news, I’m sending you all my best energy,” Seedorf wrote in an Instagram story.

“You are a fighter, and I am sure you’ll get back stronger.”

Gazidis was appointed Milan CEO in December 2018 after covering the same role at Arsenal for a decade.

Seedorf spent ten seasons at Milan, scoring 62 goals in 432 games.

He won ten trophies with the Rossoneri, including two Champions League and two Serie A titles.

He’s the only player to have won Europe’s elite competition with three different clubs: Ajax, Real Madrid and Milan.

He also coached the Rossoneri for six months, replacing Massimiliano Allegri in January 2014.
