Clarence Seedorf has confirmed he intends to become a Coach, but he’s not been offered the hotseat at Milan for 2013-14.

Reports in Italy are gathering pace that owner Silvio Berlusconi wants Seedorf to replace Massimiliano Allegri at the end of the season.

“I do see myself on a bench one day,” the Dutch midfielder, currently playing for Botafogo, told Globoesporte. “I’m preparing to become a Coach.

“Milan? I’m reading the stories too, but there is nothing concrete there. If they call then we could talk about it, but they haven’t.”

The 37-year-old Seedorf left Milan for Brazil once his contract expired at the end of the last campaign.

He spent a decade with the Diavolo after joining the Rossoneri from city rivals Inter.

Allegri is contracted to Milan until June 2014, but there are suggestions that Berlusconi is considering his options.

Allegri yesterday said that he would only discuss his future at the end of the present campaign.
