Clarence Seedorf will “set myself no limits” at the age of 35 after being named a Knight in the Order of Orange Nassau.

The Milan midfielder was honoured by the Dutch ambassador to Italy, Alphonsus Staelinga, for his football and charity work.

His contract with the Rossoneri is up at the end of the season and he has been linked with a move to Brazil.

“Do I intend to retire soon? In my job motivation and physical fitness are the most important things.

Milan President and Italy Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi attended the ceremony in the Dutch embassy in Rome and joked “Clarence will play until the age of 52.”
