Clarence Seedorf lays down the ground rules for new Milan teammate Antonio Cassano, while Alexandre Pato admits he hopes Leonardo flops at Inter.

“Cassano is a good lad who has certainly found a squad that gives him the opportunity to shine in this new adventure,” Seedorf told the Gazzetta dello Sport from the Dubai training camp.

“He immediately put himself at the disposal of the team, is working hard and trying to give his best. He didn't seem lazy at all and did plenty for someone who hasn't played for two months.

“I must say in the two days he has been with us, Cassano has shown he wants to work and that is the key to everything. If this becomes the norm for him, then he can have an important future here at Milan.”

Pato also welcomed Cassano, but had a teasing message for former Rossoneri Coach Leonardo as he starts his new job.

“Everyone makes the decisions that they believe to be right,” said the striker. “Leonardo is a professional Coach now and we must respect the decision he made to continue working.

“Having said that, I hope he doesn't do very well at Inter! It's because Milan need to win the Scudetto and a lot more.”
