Milan legend Clarence Seedorf is in talks to take over as Coach of Atlético Paranaense, according to reports in Brazil.

The Dutch midfielder spent 10 years with the Rossoneri, winning two Scudetti and two Champions Leagues.

He left in the summer of 2012 to join Botafogo, but hung up his boots in 2013 to take over as Coach of the Diavolo.

His sacking was followed by a brief spell at Shenzhen FC, but that brought just four wins in 14 games and Seedorf has been out of work for over a year.

Now though Globo Esporte is reporting that Seedorf has arrived in Curitiba for talks with Atlético Paranaense, having been sneaked out of the airport by club officials.

It was reported earlier this week that Seedorf still owed Botafogo around €1m after retiring to take up the Milan job, but it appears that is not the issue that was feared.
