According to stories on Thursday, the 36-year-old will leave for South America as soon as Monday morning.

However, the former Real Madrid man may not be given the opportunity to play in the club’s irrelevant last game of the season against Novara.

Seedorf is allegedly not on the best of terms with boss Massimiliano Allegri, who may not select him for what would be his farewell game.

The ex-international, signed from Inter in 2002, has scored three goals in 28 games for the Diavolo this term.

Milan could also wave goodbye to Alessandro Nesta, Pippo Inzaghi and, perhaps, Gennaro Gattuso amongst others at the weekend.
