‘See you at home’ Roma stars send message to Leicester City

Roma stars, including Chris Smalling, Lorenzo Pellegrini and Tammy Abraham, reacted to yesterday’s 1-1 draw against Leicester City on social media.

The Giallorossi picked up a draw in the first leg of the Conference League semi-finals against the Foxes on Thursday night. They will host Brendan Rodgers’ side at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome in the decider next week.

Lorenzo Pellegrini’s opener was cancelled out by an own goal of Gianluca Mancini in the second half, but the result is surely positive for the Giallorossi, who aim to win their first title since 2008.

Mancini was among the Roma players reacting to the draw on social media. “Step by step, with one target in mind. Come on Roma,” he wrote on Instagram.

Chris Smalling and Lorenzo Pellegrini posted some pictures from the King Power Stadium, while Abraham and Roger Ibanez warned the Premier League side with similar posts.

“And the final battle will be in our home! thanks to all for the support yesterday,” wrote the defender, while the ex-Chelsea striker added: “Half time. See you at home.”
