Guglielmo Vicario thanked the Tottenham fans following his first few weeks of Premier League action, admitting ‘new beginnings can be tricky’.
The 26-year-old Italian shot stopper became the long-term replacement for Hugo Lloris when he joined from Empoli in July in a deal worth around €20m.
Vicario has played every available Premier League minute under Ange Postecoglou this season and has already made a strong impression in North London.
Taking to Instagram, Vicario sent a message to the Tottenham fans, writing: “Ahead of the international break, I wanted to take a moment to thank the Spurs fans for the incredible welcoming. New beginnings can be tricky, you made it fun.”
