Genoa defender Andreas Granqvist will be out for the next two months after spraining his knee with ligament damage.

The Swedish international fell heavily on to his right leg during the 2-2 draw with Lecce on Sunday and tests have now confirmed a sprain with damage to the collateral medial ligament.

He will be sidelined for around two months, so effectively his season is already over.
