Former Milan attacker Jens-Petter Hauge is looking for Milan to ‘complete’ his season by winning the title on Sunday.
A point will suffice for the Rossoneri at Sassuolo with Stefano Pioli’s side two points clear of rivals Inter going into the final matchday.
Hauge, who left Milan in the summer to join Eintracht Frankfurt initially on loan before the deal became permanent, won the Europa League on Wednesday following his side’s penalty shoot out victory over Rangers.
“When Milan win the title, my season will be complete,” he told Viaplay.
Norway international Hauge joined Milan from Bodo/Glimt in 2020 and made 24 appearances for the Rossoneri.
However, the arrival of Mario Mandzukic on a free transfer in January meant Hauge was excluded from the Europa League squad for the knockout stages.
He left to join Eintracht in the summer and has made 31 appearances this campaign.
Hauge was introduced as a substitute on 71 minutes in the Europa League final which finished 1-1 in normal time.
🏆– Først og fremst tenker jeg på de folkene som er rundt klubben, og har vært det lenge. Det er utrolig mange ildsjeler i klubben, og den fansen her, det er de som er Eintracht Frankfurt.
