Italy’s Guardia Di Finanza carried out searches in the headquarters of Roma, Lazio and Salernitana in relation to two different new capital gain investigations, reports ANSA.

Investigations concern suspected inflated transfer values from 2017 until 2021 and headquarters of the three Serie A clubs were subject to searches from Guardia Di Finanza -Italy’s Financial Police – on Wednesday, according to ANSA.

The Rome Prosecutor requested searches in Roma’s headquarters, while the Tivoli Prosecutor is investigating Lazio and Salernitana.

These investigations are not related to the one involving Juventus in Turin, said the Tivoli prosecutor.

Searches were carried out to obtain documents regarding player transfers, agreements between clubs and some of their players, and payments made by the clubs.

Salernitana have already published an official statement claiming that the club and the current owners, who acquired the club from Claudio Lotito in 2021, are unrelated to the allegations adding that they will collaborate with investigators.
