Udinese goalkeeper Simone Scuffet says the Bianconeri are the club he has always supported, not Roma.

The 17-year-old has been a revelation since being brought into the Friuli-Venezia-Guilia side’s first team by Coach Francesco Guidolin.

“It’s always been Udinese,” Scuffet told the Udinese Channel.

“I deny the statements saying I support Roma because I never said them.

“I want to make clear that my relationship with this club is extremely good and it is my intention to stay here.

“My dream is realised day after day and that is to continue wearing the Udinese shirt.

The rookie shot-stopper then discussed his team’s current position.

“The win against Milan has given us the boost that we needed.

“Now we are preparing to play Roma in the best way possible because it will be hard.

“Roma are a great team in spite of their players missing, so we have to play a great game.”
