Bastian Schweinsteiger believes Bayern Munich still “need to score a goal” in Turin to knock Juventus out of the Champions League.
The Germans won the quarter-final first leg 2-0 this evening at the Allianz Arena.
“It is a good result, because Juve played a very interesting formation which we don't face in the Bundesliga at all,” the midfielder told UEFA.com.
“I think we did well with that and my feeling is telling me that we scored one goal too few. But it’s good that we did not concede, that was very important.
“You know it will not be easy in Turin, in front of their own fans. They will put in a quite different performance.
“We are in a very good position now, but have not achieved anything so far. We need to score a goal there, then we should be through.”
