According to Tuttosport newspaper, Torino defender Perr Schuurs has told his teammates that he may leave the club before next week, while Liverpool have raised their offer for the Granata.

The Dutch defender has started the pre-season with Torino, but several Premier League clubs are interested in his signature.

Wednesday’s printed edition of Tuttosport (page 8), reports Liverpool have raised their bid for the Granata after an opening €30m offer was rejected last week. However, according to the report, the Reds still haven’t matched Torino’s €40m asking price.

Crystal Palace and West Ham are also said to be interested in the former Ajax defender who moved to the Stadio Grande Torino for €9.4m a year ago.

Tuttosport claims the 23-year-old has told his teammates that he’s unsure he will join them in Pinzolo on Monday, given that the club is assessing the offers they have received.

Liverpool boss Klopp is a long-time admirer of Schuurs and the defender has prioritised a move to Anfield, claims Tuttosport. Napoli are also interested in the former Ajax defender, but Torino have reportedly rejected their €25m bid plus €3m add-ons.
