Schuurs alternative if Inter cannot get Pavard from Bayern Munich

Inter are still waiting for Bayern Munich to release Benjamin Pavard, so they reportedly see Torino defender Perr Schuurs as an alternative.

The two clubs have agreed terms and the France international is eager to make the transfer to San Siro, pushing hard for it to happen.

However, Bayern made it clear they will only let Pavard go to Milan for his medical once they have in turn already secured a replacement at right-back.

That still has not happened and there are suggestions Inter are preparing a Plan B in case of problems for Pavard.

DAZN claim their next target would be Torino centre-back Schuurs, who is already accustomed to playing in a three-man defence under Ivan Juric.

The cost of that operation would be €27m plus €3m in bonuses, so slightly less than Pavard.

The 23-year-old former Ajax defender joined Toro in 2022 for €9.4m plus add-ons and has also been linked with a potential move to Liverpool.
