Lasse Schone has reportedly terminated his contract with Genoa one and a half years after his arrival.
The Grifone had left Schone out of the squad for 2020-21, even if he was an important member of the Grifoni squad under Davide Nicola last term.
The player was not registered to play in Serie A last summer, but seemed keen to restore the peace with the club, as he met with coach Davide Ballardini, who replaced Rolando Maran at the helm last month.

SportItalia journalist Alfredo Pedulla reports the 34-year-old Denmark international has terminated his contract with the club and that his future is therefore elsewhere.
Schone played 34 times for the Rossoblu, after his €1.5m move to Italy from Ajax in August 2019.
