Lasse Schone’s agent announces the midfielder ‘is taking legal action’ against Genoa after he was left off their Serie A squad list.
The former Ajax star is effectively frozen out, as he cannot be selected for Serie A football without being named on their list of eligible players.
“We have had our say this week on the course of events, but we won’t just let this go,” agent Revien Kanhai told Voetbal International.

“We have had our say this week on the course of events, but we won’t just let this go,” agent Revien Kanhai told Voetbal International.
“Lasse is being treated in scandalous fashion and seeing as the agreements have been violated for some time now, we are taking steps.
“The club did not tell us that he would be frozen out, otherwise we would’ve found him another club.
“We are taking legal action immediately, because cases similar to this have already been analysed by FIFA and the CAS.”
After playing 34 games in Serie A during his debut season and scoring three goals, it’s not clear why new coach Rolando Maran opted to leave Schone out.
