Penarol welcomed Nicolas Schiappacasse, as the winger returns to Uruguay on loan from Sassuolo.
The winger has played twice for the Neroverdi this term having arrived for a reported €1.3m from Atletico Madrid in October 2020.
Schiappacasse had experience from Italy with Parma during six months of the 2018-19 season but moves back to his homeland this month.
He has signed a loan deal with Penarol until December 2021 and his contract at the Mapei Stadium expires in June 2022.

The Uruguayan club confirmed on social media that the transfer will only be official after the quarantine, the medical examinations and the signature.
