Gianluca Scamacca has removed West Ham from his Instagram bio, while Inter could outbid Roma for the Italy international, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Scamacca edited his Instagram bio on Wednesday removing any reference to West Ham and suggesting he wants to join a new club soon.

It is no secret that his priority is returning to Roma to work under José Mourinho, but Inter are also monitoring the ex-Sassuolo striker.

According to Thursday’s printed edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (page 14), the Giallorossi are still pushing for a paid loan deal worth circa €2-3m with an option to buy for €23-24m.

West Ham, however, want an obligation to buy and haven’t yet given the green light.

The report claims Inter are also interested in Scamacca who, however, is seen as a potential ‘last minute’ opportunity. The Nerazzurri have the financial resources to outbid Roma but are not expected to hold talks with West Ham anytime soon.
