The Neroverdi look to continue their remarkable run of form in these Sassuolo vs. Torino predictions. Alessio Dionisi’s men have won four in a row but come up against a tricky Granata side.

Sassuolo vs. Torino odds

1 – Sassuolo to win – 8/5

2 – Sassuolo to win by one goal – 16/5

3 – Under 2.5 goals scored – 10/13

4 – Just one team to score – 111/10

5 – Domenico Berardi to score – 9/4

Sassuolo host Torino at the Mapei Stadium on Monday evening with just one point separating the two sides in the league table. A win for the Neroverdi would see them leapfrog their visitors, and could see them rise as high as eighth in the standings, dependent on other results.

For Torino, matchday 26’s hammering at the hands of a rampant Napoli side may not have come as a surprise, but it still disrupted momentum that was building. The Granata have been inconsistent this season but a brief spell in touching distance of European football had fans dreaming of a late-season surge.

Unfortunately for the visitors on Monday, they are travelling to the Mapei Stadium at the worst possible time for their prospects of win. The Neroverdi are enjoying their best spell of the season with four consecutive wins and are strong favourites to take all three points on Monday.

Confidence and momentum, not to mention a home advantage, will be on the side of Alessio Dionisi’s charges, but they are unlikely to have an easy time of it against Torino. Sassuolo’s recent victories have largely came against weaker opposition and they needed a penalty to see off 17th placed Spezia in their last game.

As a result, if the hosts are to secure a win, it is unlikely to be particularly comprehensive, with a wager on a winning margin of just one goal likely to pay off.

On a similar note, Monday’s fixture is unlikely to be particularly high scoring with Torino the only team within the top 13 to have scored fewer than 30 goals this season. Sassuolo are marginally better but with both sides averaging under 1.5 goals scored per game, a wager just one team to score or on under 2.5 goals scored should pay off.

Given the two teams’ limitations in front of goal, the match could well come down to a set piece and for that reason we back Domenico Berardi to score anytime. The Sassuolo talisman is their second top scorer this season with six, four of which have been from the penalty spot.
