The visitors are still winless going into this one but these Sassuolo vs. Salernitana predictions suggest that the misery may continue. A win for the hosts would be very welcome after a run of poor results.
1 – Sassuolo to win – 8/13
2 – Under 2.5 goals scored – 5/4
3 – Both teams not to score – 6/5
4 – Andrea Pinamonti to score anytime – 6/4
5 – Sassuolo to win 2-0 – 8/1
Sassuolo didn’t really deserve to get anything from their visit to Turin on Monday and ended up losing 2-1 to a much better Torino side. Now Alessio Dionisi will be demanding that all three points are claimed from this one.
The Neraverdi have not won in their last five Serie A games but will be looking at this meeting with bottom-placed Salernitana as an absolute must-win. A victory would certainly help Sassuolo pull away from what is becoming a congested foot of the table.
Domenico Berardi is the main man for the home side and will undoubtedly create most of the chances. But it is striker Andrea Pinamonti that might be worth checking out for an anytime goal scorer wager.
Pippo Inzaghi will just be hoping that anyone in his Salernitana side is able to find the net. The Granata have only scored twice in their last six Serie A games – and only six times all season. They are now the only team in the league without a win and things might not get any better on Friday.
The 2-0 defeat at home to Napoli was probably to be expected but Salernitana really need to get some points on the board soon, before they fall deeper into the relegation zone and lose touch with some of the teams above them.
For a side known for their attacking perseverance over the last few years, the visitors are not challenging enough this season and if the poor form continues, it could end up being a very long campaign.

Sassuolo (4-3-3): Consigli; Toljan, Erlić, Ferrari, Vina; Thorsvedt, Boloca, Bajrami; Berardi, Pinamonti, Laurienté
Salernitana (4-2-3-1): Ochoa; Mazzocchi, Fazio, Pirola, Bradarić; Coulibaly, Gyömbér; Tchaouna, Dia, Candreva; Ikwuemesi
Alessio Dionisi should not have too many injury worries ahead of this one but has little to play around with when it comes to a starting XI. A very familiar line-up should be expected on Friday evening.
Pippo Inzaghi also finds himself with very few options to change around his side in an attempt to pick up a first win of the season. He is able to welcome Norbert Gyömbér back into the team though, after he missed the Napoli match through suspension.
