Sassuolo general director Nereo Bonato says the club must forget what has gone on in the last few months and concentrate on staying in Serie A.
The Neroverdi have recently reappointed Eusebio Di Francesco as Coach less than two months after replacing him with Alberto Malesani.
“It is easy to say appointing Malesani was a mistake now, but we had still lost some games even before bringing him in,” Bonato said to Tuttomercato.web.
“Di Francesco is back and he is motivated, we followed his January transfer strategy and the conditions are there for us to do well.
“We need to leave the past behind, our efforts need to be directed towards the future.
“There are still a lot of games to play, there is enough time left for us to recover.”
