Sassuolo have a very worrying statistic to deal with, having lost all six games without Domenico Berardi this season, as the captain just had knee surgery.
The Neroverdi are accustomed to being rather comfortably in mid-table and had in previous years challenged for European qualification.

To make matters worse, the statistics show that Sassuolo lost all six Serie A matches in the absence of Berardi this season.
It is particularly worrying considering Berardi just had knee surgery on a meniscus injury and will be out of action for several more weeks.
Taking an even closer look at the results, it is notable that when Berardi was on target, Sassuolo always got a positive result.
His nine goals coincided with four victories and two draws.
In total, Sassuolo earned five wins, four draws and 13 defeats in the top flight this term.
