Loans are becoming increasingly commonplace, or loans with options to buy in order to stretch payment out over several seasons.

However, Sassuolo have taken a different approach and seem to be recalling their players from loan spells instead.

Scamacca is the prime example, as he has offers from numerous clubs including Juventus and Parma.

However, with the proposals all being options to buy rather than obligations, the Neroverdi may well end up simply recalling him from Genoa to play for Roberto De Zerbi’s side.

The same scenario is in play for Brignola, who is currently on loan in Serie B with SPAL.

The 21-year-old forward has one goal in 13 competitive games for SPAL this season.
