Juventus negotiations with Sassuolo continue for Manuel Locatelli, as it’s reported they could agree a two-year loan with obligation to buy for €35m plus up to €10m in bonuses.

While Arsenal have shown they are already prepared to reach the €40m plus €5m in add-ons asking price, the Italy international has his mind firmly set on joining the Old Lady this summer.

Considering Locatelli’s determination to make the move to Juve stick, Sassuolo are trying to negotiate a suitable deal for all involved.

The initial offer of a two-year loan for €5m with option to buy for a further €25m plus bonuses was rejected, but the negotiations did continue.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Neroverdi would be prepared to accept if it was a two-year loan at €8-10m, with obligation to buy for €25m and up to another €10m in add-ons.

Of those bonuses, €5m would be easy to activate, whereas the other €5m would be very difficult to achieve.

Sassuolo are above all refusing to accept a transfer that would leave Juventus room for manoeuvre, so it must be an obligation to buy and not an option.
