Jeremie Boga said he’s ready to leave Sassuolo this summer, but director Giovanni Carnevali warns ‘he won’t move for under €40m.’
The former Chelsea attacking winger told L’Equipe newspaper yesterday that the time had come for him to move on from the Mapei Stadium.
That message did not go down well with his club, who seemed unaware of the contents of this interview and reportedly fined the player.

The former Chelsea attacking winger told L’Equipe newspaper yesterday that the time had come for him to move on from the Mapei Stadium.
That message did not go down well with his club, who seemed unaware of the contents of this interview and reportedly fined the player.
“Boga will not move for under €40m, so seeing as we have not received any offers like that, Boga is not for sale,” Carnevali told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 24-year-old was signed from Chelsea for €10m in 2018 and, despite reports to the contrary, Sassuolo have always said the Blues do not have any option on bringing him back.
His contract is due to expire in June 2022 and this season he contributed four goals and two assists in 26 Serie A appearances.
