The President reportedly went into the changing room of the Neroverdi after his team defeated them 2-0, and had some kind words for the team and their tactician.
“It's a pleasure to receive the compliments of President Berlusconi,” he told Premium Sports. “But I'm sorry because we were holding our own against Milan, in spite of being short of a man.

“The team expended a lot of energies, but took nothing home.
“As for the penalty, I disagree with the rule, regardless of the episode. [Andrea] Consigli couldn't just get out of there or completely move out of the way.
“Sending off a player could shape the outcome of the match.
“We did well to set it straight, but we ended up taking that goal from a corner kick.
“[Domenico] Berardi's free kick? I deliberately lengthened the wall, because in those cases the keeper takes one step in the wrong direction.
“[Gianluigi] Donnarumma did that, but it's a trap that even the most experienced goalkeepers will fall for. And Berardi was very good.”
