Eusebio Di Francesco admits his Sassuolo players came across a better team in Juventus.
The Neroverdi were beaten 3-1 by the defending Serie A champions on Saturday evening, with the 47-year-old saying that the Old Lady’s superiority was compounded by errors from his own side.
“We made some incredible mistakes,” Di Francesco said of the loss at Juventus Stadium.
“We did the opposite of what we had planned. They put us in difficulty in the first half. They have great quality and great physicality.

The Coach also called for a dose of realism from fans and media, following the remarkable rise of Sassuolo in recent seasons.
“People have spoken too much about Sassuolo in the Champions League. We need to keep our feet on the floor and analyse the transfer window we have had.”
