Giacomo Raspadori and Sassuolo director Giovanni Carnevali warn Milan will not face an easy route to the Scudetto. ‘We want the best possible result.’
The Rossoneri go into the final round needing only one point to secure the Serie A title, and can even afford to lose as long as Inter do not beat Sampdoria at San Siro on Sunday evening.
The two games will be played simultaneously, on Sunday at 17.00 UK time (16.00 GMT).
Both Sassuolo and Sampdoria have nothing left to play for, although that didn’t stop both of them enjoying big wins at the weekend against Bologna and Fiorentina respectively.
“I don’t think we will do anything different to usual, we approach every game with effort and professionalism,” said Raspadori at an event this evening.
“It is that mentality that allowed us to achieve such good results this season and I see no reason to behave differently now.”
Director of sport Carnevali was also present and reassured Inter that there will be no putting their feet up at the Mapei Stadium.
“Clearly, there are big expectations over Sunday’s game and we have an extraordinary number of requests for tickets.
“It’s going to be a festival of football and a match played with the utmost professionalism, so we want to get the best possible result.”

Marotta will make sure that VAR is working 1000% come this weekend.
@Lord Working only in Inter‘s favor you mean. Expect Inter to get a freebie penalty early in the game
Inter will beat Samp without any help! It appears that the ref has helped Milan just as much as any other team. LOL
