Maurizio Sarri admits being worried about Luis Alberto and Mattia Zaccagni’s injuries in Lazio’s 1-0 win over Feyenoord.

A goal from Ciro Immobile in the first half, helped Lazio secure a key 1-0 victory against Feyenoord in Rome and leapfrog the Dutch side into second place in the Champions League Group E.

“We stayed in the game, also in difficult moments. We knew we had to suffer because they are a goal machine and tonight we managed not to let them score,” Sarri told Sky Sport Italia.

“We could have hurt them in the final 20 minutes. Hopefully, we won’t pay a high price because some players had physical issues.”

Sarri referred to Luis Alberto and Zaccagni who had suffered injuries during the match.

“We are a little concerned,” Sarri admitted, speaking about the pair.

“We decided not to press their central defenders much because they use the goalkeeper so well,” explained Sarri.

“So we let them keep possession, especially after taking the lead.”

The Biancocelesti meet José Mourinho’s Roma in the Derby della Capitale on Sunday, the last Serie A game e before the international break.
