Italy international Immobile is in the starting XI, despite pulling out of the World Cup qualifier against Lithuania with a slight muscular issue.

“Immobile had a couple of days separately in training, then joined the others, so he’s available,” Sarri told DAZN.

Will this be the day for some of the new Aquile signings to get their debut, such as Manuel Lazzari or Tomas Basic?

“I have absolutely no idea. We’ll see how the game goes and then decide, but we’ve got players who have only been here for a few days, they need to go through the stages.”

Lazio scored nine goals in two games, but had also conceded the opener first on both occasions, so Sarri is far from convinced his side has the right attacking dominance.

“I don’t think we’re able to pin opposition teams back yet, we need to do it far more. There are some games where it will be easier to push forward and others where it’ll be tougher.”
