Maurizio Sarri could reportedly sign the Lazio contract tomorrow and be announced as their new coach, setting aside concerns over transfer strategy.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Sky Sport Italia and the Corriere dello Sport, Sarri is whittling down the final details with his agent Fali Ramadani.
Monday is expected to be decisive and should see both the contract signature and announcement of his arrival at the Stadio Olimpico.
The former Napoli, Chelsea and Juventus boss had taken a couple of days to consider his decision, with rumours he wanted more guarantees on the transfer plans from President Claudio Lotito.
They are now working out the staffing structure, which should see Sarri reunited with his former assistant manager Giovanni Martusciello.
