Reports continue to circulate that Maurizio Sarri wants a reunion with Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga at Lazio.

The rumours had already emerged a few weeks ago, with Pepe Reina dropped to the bench at the Stadio Olimpico and Thomas Strakosha becoming first choice.

Now Spanish newspaper Sport claims that Sarri has again requested that Lazio bring in Kepa for the Serie A side.

The 27-year-old Spain international cost a whopping €80m to sign from Athletic Bilbao in the summer of 2018.

However, he has now become second choice at Chelsea to Edouard Mendy and is eager for more playing time.

Considering the cost of the operation, a loan would be the most likely option for the shot-stopper and Sarri would be eager to reunite at Lazio.

The pair famously clashed during the Carabao Cup Final in 2019 when Sarri tried to substitute him following a knock in extra time, but the goalkeeper refused to leave the pitch.
