Today’s 3-0 victory over Watford at Stamford Bridge mathematically secured their place in the top European competition for next season.

Gonzalo Higuain, on loan from Juventus, was on target along with Ruben Loftus-Cheek and David Luiz.

It put Chelsea in third place, one point ahead of Tottenham Hotspur.
