“Tonight we conceded on the counter-attack when we had the game in hand,” Sarri told Sky Sport Italia after a 1-1 result.

“We did well in not losing our heads, so we kept on playing our football and eventually it paid off.”
Sarri has been heavily linked with Milan over the past couple of days, as reports grow he is the number one choice to replace Pippo Inzaghi next season.
“I only know what I read in the papers. Clearly it’s pleasing, but at this moment I have to focus on Empoli, as we are not yet safe.
“Our strength must be in our ability to isolate ourselves from the rumour mill and focus only on our objective.”
