Empoli boss Maurizio Sarri admits to feeling “anger” that his side impressed against Roma and Udinese without points.

The Tuscans lost 1-0 on home turf today after the Week 1 defeat in Udine.

“I hope the lads can improve and grow on a physical level the same way they did last season, holding the same intensity for a full 90 minutes,” Sarri told Sky Sport Italia.

“There is a bit of anger at playing well in two defeats, as we received compliments and no points. We must be even more determined and ‘angry’ to earn a result, having deserved something in these two games.”
