Lazio forward Joaquin Correa is on the verge of a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain in exchange for €18m plus Pablo Sarabia, claim reports.

Sport Mediaset transfer pundit Marco Barzaghi followed up reports from Footmercato, Sportitalia and more than Sarabia would be the key to the transfer.

It seems the negotiations are at an advanced stage now, with a deal potentially imminent.

Correa is not part of new coach Maurizio Sarri’s plans, but is targeted by PSG and their boss Mauricio Pochettino.

According to the latest updates, Lazio have accepted an offer of Sarabia plus €18m to hand Correa over to the Ligue 1 giants.

Sarabia is a 29-year-old Spain international who plays primarily on the right side of a trident attack, but can also work on the left or in a trequartista role behind the strikers.

He was signed from Sevilla for €18m in the summer of 2019 and last season he scored seven goals, providing four assists in 37 competitive games for PSG.
