Callejon’s form has been increasingly shaky over the last few months and Rafa Benitez’s departure only exacerbated the situation.
Atletico Madrid have made their interest in the wide attacker clear and Napoli are seriously considering a sale.

The trequartista already worked wonders with Coach Maurizio Sarri at Empoli, both in Serie B and again over the last six months.
He arrived in January on loan from Milan with option to buy and Empoli now own him outright after paying €4m.
The Rossoneri will receive 30 per cent of any future transfer fee that Empoli command for the Italy Under-21 international.
Inter are also known to be tracking Saponara, but Napoli and the chance to work with Sarri again would no doubt be the favourites.
