Inter defender Davide Santon said current Coach Luciano Spalletti reminds him of Jose Mourinho “in many aspects.”
The Nerazzurri are still unbeaten this season and sitting pretty in second place behind leaders Napoli.
Much of that is down to new boss Spalletti and Santon is impressed with the former Roma and Zenit tactician.
“Spalletti does remind me of Mourinho in many aspects, but I don’t like to make comparisons,” the former Newcastle United full-back told Mediaset Premium.

“Everyone has their own way of doing things, but the desire he puts into it and the way he motivates us is fundamental.
“We all feel the passion of the Coach and we must prove that we’re ready when called upon. I’ve always liked his coaching style, we’ve got a good rapport and I’m happy about that.
“He never wants to lose, always gives it everything and during the week really fires us up. We’ve always got to be on our toes.
“We are doing well, are on the right track and the sensations are positive, but we mustn’t rest on our laurels. There’s a lot of work to be done and many areas where we can improve.
“You can see we are only at the beginning and while there is confidence, we’ve got to keep our feet on the ground.”
