Simone Inzaghi left Alexis Sanchez out of the squad for Inter’s pre-season friendly against Monaco yesterday as the club work to say goodbye to the Chilean.

The Nerazzurri are desperate to pick up Paulo Dybala this summer and they’ve been in talks with the Argentinian for a while now, but they’ve been unable to close out a deal as the club need to make space up front. Edin Dzeko made it clear that he’s not interested in leaving and things have moved extremely slowly on the Sanchez front.

As detailed by Tuttosport, Sanchez has turned down a number of interesting offers over the last few weeks as he’s convinced that he can still play for a top club in Europe. Inter are tired of waiting and have now started exploring severance package options.

The Milanese club are now considering raising the severance package to around €5m, allowing them to both say goodbye to Sanchez and make space for Dybala. Inter know that they have no time to waste now as Roma also look to agree a deal with the Argentinian forward.

  1. Inter should get rid of that old bum Dzeko instead of Sanchez tbh.

Sanchez could still be useful, Dzeko is so finished its not even funny.

  2. Azzkikr, you’re basing that on what? Last season Dzeko was one of the top five best Inter players. Had he shoot penalties for the Nerazzurri, he’d probably be their best rated player.
Heh, I think it’s quite obvious what nationality you are…

  3. Sanchez is still a good player and always a threat in the box. He deserves better than this or at least a club near the highest levels.
